POLICE ALERT: THEFT FROM VEHICLES

This summer, the Franklin-Bingham Farms Police Department is noting an increase in items stolen from parked vehicles in residential neighborhoods, mostly along 13 Mile Road near Telegraph Road. Most of the thefts are occurring late at night, and many involve vehicles that were left unlocked by the residents. Most of the time, small amounts of loose change and similar items were taken. The department asks all residents to please lock vehicles, and report any suspicious activity you may see by calling 911.
